INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES:
With an idea to give International exposure to the students school organises various International Exchange Programs to have a global connect.

The school organised an International Exchange Program with the schools of Denmark (JOHANNESSKOLENES School) and France. It also acted host to these global guests which has widened the vistas of learning giving a global perspective and outlook to the students. 

Interactive video conferencings give a widened outlook to the students.

INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD (ISA)

N K Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka added another feather to its cap as it was honoured by the British Council, Government of UK with the reaccreditation of the prestigious ISA Award for the session 2015-18. The school was first accredited with the I SA award for 2012-2015 in recognition of the collaborative work with international partner schools.

 The ISA Award 2015-18 was handed over to school Principal Dr Rajee N Kumar and project coordinator Ms Smita Sharma by Ms Ruchira Ghosh, Regional Director, south Asia For Cambridge International Examinations .Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Rob Lynes, Director-British council and Mark Herbert, Global Head of Schools.

The ISA program was a unique, fascinating mélange of activities that provided the young Bagrodians an opportunity to acquaint with the global trends in education. It helped in inculcating a spirit of camaraderie among the students and teachers of different nationalities. The students acquired an experience of a lifetime as they acquainted themselves to the varied cultures of different nations..

The junior wing of N.K.Bagrodia Public School conducted the ISA Activity titled---Puppet Show. The students made various colorful and attractive puppets and masks to present the International stories of France, Russia and China.

Senior students interacted with their counterparts in Poland, France, Spain and Nepal and had the unique opportunity to share their ideas, values and customs. They had the exclusive chance to get a new perspective of their own culture by seeing it through the eyes of an outsider thus gaining a deeper understanding of their own cultures

Through the Project community outreach programme , students visited SOS Villages, Old Age Homes, Organised Street fairs and donated  for people in need. Such acts of generosity by the students would surely go a long way in instilling the cherished values of tolerance, charity and benevolence among the young Bagrodians

CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL DAYS IN SCHOOL

Africa day
AFRICA DAY was enthusiastically celebrated in School.  PPT by the students highlighted the African Continent and its countries.  A dance performance depicting African’s tribes , a quiz show, an exhibition, showcasing the the currency, language, cuisine, culture, dresses etc. of the countries of Africa.  The event culminated with the song Waka Waka, which evoked memories of FIFA 2010, presented by the students of the school.

French Day Celebration
The school conducted the French day.  The chief guest, Mr Daniel Regnault from the Embassy of France graced the occasion.  Among the other distinguished guests present on the occasion was Mr Jatinder Singh from the Embassy of France.The cultural programme commenced with a melodious rendition of a French song by the students.  The captivating power point presentation by the students on their recent visit of French which was wonderful rendezvous to French culture, people, monuments, places, cuisine, sports and to various amusing facts of the country.  

A French quiz was organized among the students.  A French ballet Dance enthralled the audience.  At the culmination the winners of quiz contest were duly rewarded by the chief guest.  

Swiss Day Celebration
Swiss Day was celebrated with  a rhythmic dance performance, the popular Swiss foot dance was presented which caught the attention of all present.
A captivating PPT depicted a rendezvous to Swiss culture & heritage, cuisines to educational system, monuments to art and artifacts.  The accomplishments of the Nation and its progress in terms of nuclear and hydel power were also showcased through the PPT.  Among the other major highlights of the PPT were the unparallel contribution of the scientists and their discoveries, Roger Federer, the tennis star and his brief biography.  Besides these, Swiss chocolates, Swiss Army Knife and musical instrument Alphorn were also depicted through the PPT.

SAARC Day Celebration
School celebrated SAARC Day to commemorate its significance as a regional organization.  The programme commenced with the mesmerizing Kathak dance followed by a melodious song performed by the students. The colourful flags of each member nation was displayed to apprise the students with the objectives of SAARC.  Later, the students presented an informative power point presentation showing its all seven founder members. A quiz was also held showcasing the intellect of the students.  The highlight of the programme was the Information Desks, exhibiting the currency, language, cuisine, culture and costumes of all the member nations of SAARC.

W H O Day Celebration
W H O day was celebrated enthusiastically by the whole school.  To mark the beginning of the event, a speech was delivered by a student who discussed at length the epochal significance of the day.  The event followed by a vibrant and rhythmic dance showcasing the importance of various nutrients present in food.  Event further gained momentum by rejuvenating and energizing aerobic session which further illustrated the ways to remain fit and healthy.  The showstopper event was fancy dress competition presented by class II students who in their innocent and charming way enthralled every one. To add creative zest to the event students of class VII participated in salad making competition and presented curious cuisines.  The event reached its culmination with PPT presentation on “Good Health Adds Years to Life” which touched upon various interesting aspects of healthy living and lifestyle mantra.
